The War on Terror has led to an increase and exposure to a new level of firearms instructors. Combat experience, real-world practical experience that can be translated into how to survive a violent encounter. Instructors previously had never had this type of exposure, unless they were police or served in Vietnam. Veterans like myself have had multiple deployments, decades of the highest quality training the US Government can provide.
We are leading the way to reform the old schools of thought, and academic approaches to training students. We ignore the “we always done it this way” mentality and push the envelope on techniques that worked and ones that didn’t work in the war. This opportunity provides an excellent resource to those that are looking to learn how to protect themselves in an ever-changing world.
